RPGs lack something very important

I just noticed something.

In the majority of Japanese RPGs, you never see any bathrooms.

So either the characters magically never need to bathe or relieve themselves, or they smell awful and crap outside.

They're in Persona 3 & 4! XD

If you use them in Persona 3, your status improves. :3

I was going to say, they have them in Persona 3...

I was beaten. Darn.

I assumed Japan was like all other developing/third world countries, in that they don't use real toilets, but instead, just shit in holes in the ground.

I just remembered a comic that, while not about Japanese RPGs, is in the same vein.

I'm gonna go with the latter option, just because it makes me laugh. ^__^

Nah, FFVI has chamber pots AND toilets. Kefka even has a rant while pacing about in a prisoner's cell, which, of course, comes complete with a toilet. I mean, he strikes a pose on top of it.

They're there. In some games. But in the older ones, when pixels are so limited, why include them when they just eat up precious space/memory? XD

Current ones don't have that excuse, though.
