News Corp. is dying?
May. 7th, 2009 02:02 pmNews Corp. thinks that people will pay for their website content.
They're so naive about how the internet works that I'm trying not to die laughing. So much for News Corp., I think. People will pay for a physical copy or for convenience such as the iPhone App. However, asking a person to log in is not convenient and goes against many people's desires to remain anonymous on the internet. People will just use bugmenot or read other sources of news. Especially the younger college crowd that typically has little money to spare on newspaper subscriptions.
They might survive, if it isn't too expensive. Otherwise... nope.
... okay, back to dying from graduation/exams stuff.
