Old top entry and stuff about parents....

Okay, seems like sticking an entry up like this at the top of my journal ten years in the future is screwing up stuff so no one sees my entries in their friends pages. Which explains why no one ever comments on my entries, anyways. Oops. .... Which explains why I had trouble with sennuyer's entries when she had a similar thing up.

So, now I need to know how to stick the image itself at the very top of my journal. Any takers?


Also, my parents' gift arrived at their house today, and I'm glad I was there to pick it up and hide it. Not only was the name of the company, a dead giveaway, on the packaging box, but they included the packing slip with everything on it and didn't even properly wrap the presents inside. I just spent 30 minutes applying liberal amounts of tape so that Mom and Dad can't peek, mostly because the wrapping was so loose that it was crazy. Also, they didn't even include the message we wanted them to include in it.

For 280 dollars worth of merchandise, you'd think they'd take a little more care with that sort of stuff.... *Sighs* Oh well, it's here and in one piece, so that's really all I care about. Brian's going to whine that I didn't wait for him to open the package since he's afraid I'd damage it (I have opened packages before, brat), but I'm glad that I did. He might not have thought about double-checking the packaging so thoroughly.

My parents' collective gifts, for the first time in history, dwarf mine and my brother's collective gifts in size. Perhaps close to price, too. Congrats to them on that.

Hehe, you can set the time to any time you want... although now I give up on that and am going to find another way to have my pretty icon at the top. =(

O.o Ah, sorry. I had trouble with my announcements for a while but I usually do see your comments, I just don't know what to say to them most of the time. XD Although I do see them. I'm going to try to talk to you some tomorrow, although I'll be busy since if I'm not I go crazy. XD But I'll try and be talkative?
