...Glad to see you're out of Shrimp-puberty and obviously healthy, Naruto, but really. The last thing I need is for there to be more of you.

This explains why Naruto has been acting so odd the last couple of days. She molted, then continued to do the "pouty" thing for a couple more days. *Sighs* I had two at once, so I need to do research to make sure those eggs aren't fertilized.
Edit: Nope, not fertilized until a male does it when they're outside her body. Yay. Stop scaring me, you brat.
Second Edit: This explains what the little round things were on the bottom of their enclosure. Unfertilized eggs. Sakura's also developing eggs, since she just shed along with Naruto yesterday. I STILL have three females. This is good.

Date: 2006-05-19 06:48 pm (UTC)There'd be so little meat on these babies no one would ever want to eat them. At the very least I know they'll always be safe from being eaten by people. They're just the sweetest little things, anyways. Who'd want to eat something so incredibly cute?
I need to get them into their new container soon. I just want Sasuke to shed before I do that.
