Distress Bird No. 2
Oct. 3rd, 2006 07:10 pm... Well, at least this one was easier to help?
Poor thing got his head stuck in the wrapper of a half-eaten Nutty Bar. Which seemed to have made him top-heavy when he got stuck to the gooey bar, because he was on his back when I found him, flapping his wings and kicking in distress.
All I had to do was pick up the wrapper, and he fell out before flying away.
This is why people shouldn't litter. But at least I got to him before he suffocated himself....
