Short Naruto drabble - eyelashes

icelightningShould be doing homework, but suddenly this drabble said it had to be written, so I obeyed. I'm kinda annoyed with the ending--I didn't haver time to give it a better one--but oh well.
"You have eyelashes like a girl."
Sasuke's hand froze halfway to his mouth. He slowly--calmly--placed the onigiri back on his plate and turned to glare at Naruto, who was staring at the Uchiha with something akin to shock. "Come again?"
Naruto's eyes widened a little more at Sasuke's silent promise of death, and he waved a hand defensively. "No, seriously! Girls would kill for those!"
The Uchiha opened his mouth to respond, but no sound would come out. Instead, he felt his cheeks reddening. What the hell, why was he--?
"Naruto!" Sakura's voice broke into the conversation, scolding the blond. "Of course Sasuke-kun's eyeslashes are nice and long! They're to protect his eyes, you know! A Sharingan user's eyes are his most prized possession!"
Sasuke silently thanked Sakura as he regained his composure, reaching for his lunch again. "Aa. Sakura's right. You couldn't figure it out on your own, moron?"
Naruto gave Sasuke a skeptic look as if he knew that Sasuke was bullshitting him--which he was--and frowned as if he wanted to argue about it more. Sakura beamed at Sasuke as he went back to eating. Truthfully, Sasuke had never noticed, nor thought about it, but Sakura's explanation was perfect. Better that than--
"I still think they look girly," Naruto grumbled half-hearted, going back to eat his own lunch.
Sasuke shot him a glare, but said nothing. If he said anything, it'd only encourage Naruto. But one thing was for certain.
His eyelashes were the product of superior genetics to protect his bloodline limit. They were not girly!

That night in the hotel, Sasuke walked to the hall bathroom when he thought everyone was asleep. He didn't head to the toilet, instead approaching the mirror above the sink. Sasuke leaned forward until his face was almost touching the glass, frowning as he looked at himself.
The boy blinked once, then twice, before slowly closing one eye and turning his head to observe it from different angles. He frowned deeper, almost scowling. Naruto couldn't be right. But Sasuke needed a comparison to be sure.
So he leaned away from the mirror, made a hand seal, and mumbled "Henge!"
When the smoke cleared, the form of Naruto stood where Sasuke had previously been. Sasuke found he had to push himself half onto the sink in order to see his reflection again, Naruto being just short enough to make it difficult. He subjected Naruto's body to the same sort of inspection, his scowl growing. Naruto's lashes were definitely shorter.
"Che," Sasuke scoffed, feet dropping back to the tile before he dispelled the jutsu, continuing to frown at his reflection.
Then, his gaze shifted, as he realized there was a reflection belonging to someone other than himself in the mirror. The figured was leaning against the open door of the bathroom; shit, had he forgotten to close it?
He glared at Naruto without turning his head back, his eyes narrowing as Naruto began to snicker. Sasuke felt his cheeks grow warm. When had the idiot woken up? Sasuke was sure Naruto had been asleep when he left the room.
"What the hell are you doing awake?" Sasuke glared at Naruto's relfection harder when this only caused Naruto to grin wider.
"You know me well enough to tell how long my lashes are?" Naruto asked for an answer, hands against the back of his bed ruffled hair, his eyes sleepy but amused. "And I have to piss."
"It's called attention to detail, moron," Sasuke growled as he shoved roughly past Naruto and headed towards the door.
Naruto headed into the now vacated bathroom, grinning over his shoulder as he began to shut the door, "I still say they're girly!
Sasuke's kunai embedded itself in the door as it shut with an audible click.
"You have eyelashes like a girl."
